PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Streetview is an alternative education program at our Station Stretch Minoru site. The program is intended for students on a Dogwood or Adult graduation path and provides continuous enrolment throughout the year. Streetview provides Grade 11 and 12 core and elective coursework through a hybrid model of teacher-led instruction and self-paced work with assistive technology available to students.
Streetview serves a demographic of students who need one of our learning supports to complete their graduation requirements. It offers a smaller class size with a focus on social and emotional learning, a reduced schedule and the opportunity for 1:1 teacher assistance. Streetview also benefits from access to clinical counselling services through Vancouver Coastal Health as well as a resident Social Worker to support personal and family needs as they arise.
REFERRAL PROCESS
Interested students and potential referrals should contact Vince Shyong (vshyong@sd38.bc.ca), Josh Daley (jodaley@sd38.bc.ca) or Station Stretch Head Teacher Andrew Turner (aturner@sd38.bc.ca) for additional information and an application package.
