Adding Titles to Site Libraries
| An action that we have taken to support our school’s learning focus is: | Teachers are working on adding to our school’s library collection so that students’ can have a variety of texts that are engaging, relatable, and represent a diversity of interests and identities. |
| This action supports our school’s learning focus in the following ways: | Increasing student access to texts will make reading more enjoyable, accessible and equitable, and increase the desire to engage in reading, even if texts are difficult. More time spent in the act of reading will be more time practising reading strategies. |
